Dr. John F. Kveton
MD
Section Chief, Otology and Neurotology
Dr. John Kveton is Section Chief of Otology and Neurotology at Yale Medicine. He launched the first cochlear implant program at Yale and previously established programs at Lahey Clinic and St. Louis University, where he also performed the hospital's first cochlear implant. He collaborates with neurosurgeons on intracranial tumors and acoustic neuromas, has served as President of the Connecticut ENT Society and New England Otolaryngological Society, and has published over 100 articles and book chapters.

Dr. Nofrat Schwartz
MD
Assistant Professor, Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
Dr. Nofrat Schwartz is a neurotologist who treats diseases of the middle ear, inner ear, balance system, and skull base. She earned her medical degree from Hebrew University of Jerusalem with honors, served four years as a Physician Officer in the Israeli Defense Forces, and completed fellowship training in neurotology and skull base surgery at the University of North Carolina. She is the Otolaryngology Medical Student Clerkship Director at Yale School of Medicine and an active member of the American Neurotology Society and American Cochlear Implant Alliance.

Dr. Douglas M. Hildrew

Dr. Douglas Hildrew is an ear, nose and throat specialist and skull-base surgeon who treats children and adults with hearing disorders and balance dysfunction. He performs cochlear implants, auditory brainstem implants, tympanoplasty, and facial nerve reanimation procedures. Dr. Hildrew completed advanced fellowship training in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Justin Cottrell

Dr. Justin Cottrell is a neurotologist specializing in hearing rehabilitation and skull base tumor management. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering and Management from MIT and is driven by an interest in how technology can reduce the burden of hearing and balance disorders. Dr. Cottrell completed his fellowship in neurotology and lateral skull base surgery at NYU Langone Health, and his research spans cochlear implant techniques, auditory brainstem implant performance, and medical imaging optimization.
